The Schmetz 75/11 and 90/14 stretch machine needles are designed for use with synthetic suedes and highly elastic synthetic knitwear, including swimwear and spandex or lycra products. They are optimized to help prevent skipped stitches which are often common when working with highly elastic knits. They are made using quality high carbon steel wire. This makes them remarkably strong, and hard to break. They will also not corrode or rust for a very long time.
